In case you were wondering why Wild Yogi, it's what I and lots of my student friends think I am. Hahahaha... A lot of people, rightly or wrongly, have this perception that yogis are meant to live a perfect saint-like life, eating only healthy things, and being all about peace and calm, always composed and serene. I did try to pretend to be perfect and normal for a little while when I first started teaching. It didn't take me long to realise that I wasn't being me! I am a bit like the champagne that I like to drink - bubbly! My intention is to have lots of fun, live my truth and let my true self shine with as much kindness and compassion for all beings as possible. My goal is to help my students have fun discovering and living their truth.
Here are my qualifications so you know you're safe with me:
Yoga Anatomy Certificate (trained with the world famous Leslie Kaminoff)
Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridians for Movement Therapists Certificate (with my mentor Mike Doxey)
TeenYoga & Mindfulness teacher certificate (with the wonderful Charlotta Martinus)
Yogabeats Foundation Levels I & 2 certificates (with the brilliant David Sye)
I am a Senior Yoga Teacher (or now called Yoga Alliance Professionals member) registered with Yoga Alliance UK. To learn more about what this means and about Yoga Alliance UK, please click on the logo below.
I do love learning so you can be sure that I will be constantly updating my knowledge and sharing what I learn with you. Anatomy, kinesiology, and all things to do with the human body and its movement are my passion. I'm always curious about how our lives affect our body and our movement and vice versa. The body is a miracle. If we treat it with love, it will respond by allowing us to move more freely and with greater ease and grace.
